Penman & Winton has grown significantly across the years. The firm began in 1994 with two partners who wanted to help small nonprofits better access and impact Missouri government —an opportunity most small Missouri nonprofits did not have at the time.
It has since grown to be a small firm that also manages multiple professional nonprofit associations. In recent years the firm has taken on more diverse roles, including facilitating state task forces, advising a PAC, and handling all aspects of event management for standalone events, among other affairs. The firm's client list is extensive and varied in focus, reflecting the firm's capacity to comprehensively and continuously meet any organization's legislative and management needs.
