Kaycee began as an associate at Penman & Winton Consulting Group in 2016. As an associate, Kaycee works directly with clients to help manage their legislative interests, monitors legislative hearings, conducts research, and attends meetings with elected officials.
Before joining Penman & Winton, Kaycee worked in the nonprofit sector. Beginning in 2011, she spent four years coordinating a 4-H college access program for underserved youth in Boone County, as she worked towards her Bachelors in Political Communication and Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Missouri. Following graduation in 2015, Kaycee returned to her home in Jefferson County to help develop a similar college access program for homeless youth.
At Mizzou, Kaycee taught undergraduate courses in Women’s Leadership and Career Exploration, later supervising undergraduate instructors. During her time as an undergraduate, she also studied international politics while abroad at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and in Rwanda where she was also able to intern with the Association for Children Assistance. She came straight to Penman & Winton following a separate internship at an international non-profit.
From High Ridge, Missouri, Kaycee currently lives in Columbia with her dog. During her free time she enjoys traveling, hanging out in Mid-Missouri’s diners and coffee shops, and getting caught up on her favorite podcasts.
