Jill Hancock

Jill is the Director of Management Services at Penman & Winton Consulting Group, where she has worked since 2002. Prior to joining Penman & Winton, she served as a Boards & Commissions Associate in the Missouri Governor's Office and a Constituent Specialist for a former United States Senator. Jill is an integral part of Penman & Winton, responsible for overseeing all aspects of client management, event planning, and management of the firm. She has particular expertise in strengthening associations and client organizations.

Jill has overseen many client successes throughout her tenure at Penman & Winton, including successfully transitioning multiple new client associations from financial uncertainty and struggling operational models to the successful association management model that Penman & Winton utilizes with each of its associations. She has overseen more than 100 successful annual conferences that have ranged in size from 25 to more than 1,200 attendees. Jill also manages multiple annual operating budgets ranging in size from $20,000 to $1.5 million, and has implemented many new programs within associations that have resulted in new revenue generation equal to 10-15% of that association's annual operating budget. Under Jill's leadership, Penman & Winton continuously meets, and many times exceeds, the annual goals set forth by each association's board of directors.

She is particularly proud of successfully managing and sustaining associations throughout the recession. During a time when many nonprofit associations were losing members, experiencing reductions in attendance at conferences, and struggling to manage increasing expenses, the associations managed by Penman & Winton did not experience similar effects of the financial downturn. Under Jill's direction, Penman & Winton worked with each of its associations to create action plans that resulted in sustaining and increasing membership levels and attendance at events. Each of Penman & Winton's association clients thrives financially due to these strong efforts.

Jill attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She remains an avid Mizzou sports fan.

A Missouri native, Jill lives in Holts Summit, Missouri with her two daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in her children's school and community activities, and traveling.
